A free meal-planning and grocery-budgeting tool for New Zealand, currently in beta. That means it's genuinely useful and still improving, and you'll occasionally find rough edges. Telling us about them is the fastest way to get them fixed.
We work hard on accuracy: prices come from the supermarket banners' listed online prices, are manually checked and entered, and refresh on a regular cycle, and the totals we show are what we expect you to pay. But supermarkets change prices whenever they like, specials end, and individual stores can differ a little from their banner's online prices, so the price at your till can differ from the price in the app. Kepie is a planning tool, not a quoted contract. If a number is wrong, tell us; every miss gets investigated.
Kepie's dietary filters are a convenience, not a safety system. Do not rely on Kepie to protect you from allergens. Always check the actual product label and the recipe's actual ingredients before buying or cooking, especially for anyone with an allergy or medical dietary requirement.
Don't abuse the service (scraping, bulk automated access, attempting to identify other users, or interfering with operation). We can suspend access that does.
Kepie is provided as-is, free of charge. To the extent NZ law allows, we're not liable for losses from using it, including a shop that costs more than the app estimated. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act that can't be excluded.
You can delete your account at any time in settings; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data. We can suspend or delete any account at our discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these terms or abuse of the service, and we can change or withdraw features or the service itself. Kepie is free and in beta; we use this sparingly, but the right is not limited to abuse. If an account is suspended or deleted, your data is handled as the Privacy Policy describes.
We'll flag meaningful changes to these terms in the app before they apply.
